Oregon Riesling from the Eola Hills AVA by Spectral Cellars

The Lone Star Vineyard catches early sun each morning and is cooled every night by the Van Duzer Corridor’s mighty winds. This nightly cooling allows for longer hang times to add complexity while achieving ideal ripeness.

The Oregon Riesling that we harvest grows at around 375 feet and is planted in a mix of Jory & sedimentary soils.

This Oregon Riesling was crafted to be almost bone-dry in a Pfalz-German style. It was inspired by the finest Grosses Gewächs (GG’s) from Germany and will age for decades. It is extremely food-friendly and very versatile with a variety of offerings like salads, fruits, fish, and even pairs beautifully with fried chicken.  Bright acidity combined with an elegant mouthfeel make this stunning bottling shine. it is approachable now, but this Oregon Riesling will age gracefully for decades.
